A new generation of bacchae who have captured local women and there is silence in the forest. Xena and Gabrielle have to go in search of Orpheus and find quite a surprise in a cave. PG-13 with action, violence and a passionate kiss all included in this story. A few sour notes but but a happy ending.
Behold - The Message (added 7/14/00)
This is a story from Gabrielle's scrolls on how Xena showed Gabrielle what was in her heart. It takes place immediately after the episode, Motherhood. In keeping with the Xena Scrolls, it explains why Xena placed Ares in a tomb. Xena cannot explain to Gabrielle what's in her heart but her actions speak louder than words on parchment.
The Warrior's Journey (added 7/14/00)
This story takes place after the conclusion of the show's 5th season and the episode, Motherhood and involves the driving mental thoughts of Xena, Warrior Princess following events and emotions between she and her companion, Gabrielle.

Some have pointed out, at the Tavern Wall, that X & G have not discussed Gabby's daughter Hope. It seems that Xena's pregnancy & Eve's birth would have triggered at least one such discussion no matter how brief. This is what I envisioned was said.

Sometimes the best measure of a relationship is how one partner supports the other in time of crisis. Xena didn't get much chance to do that for Gabrielle in Season Five. This story takes place just before Lifeblood. Minor spoilers for Season Five.
Those readers who have been caregivers for elderly parents may find this story uncomfortable. The author found it incredibly cathartic.
Solstice Encounter (added 7/14/00)
This is a kid's story. My friends at Tavern Wall say it reminds them of Disney. Whatever. There is no sex in this story. Sorry, but they're only kids. There is some violence, but less than the average video game. It's a story about where courage comes from, and where dreams are born.
